This Weekend in Lahore: Guided Tours and More
So we’ve entered the month of August, summer shows no sign of waning. I don’t know about you but I’ve caught my stride, if I do say so myself. And that is in no small part thanks to these weekend smart-lists. Gives me a purpose you see, knowing what I’ll be doing every weekend in Lahore. If you’ve been feeling aimless lately, here’s the C+G weekend guide. Read up. Plan it.
THE MAD HATTER’S TEA PARTY
As per ritual, we’re going to help you sort out plans with the kiddies this weekend in Lahore. British Council Pakistan is hosting a tea party. Let’s just pretend that this is solely for your child and not in fact because you love tea parties too (don’t we all). Know what’s better than tea parties? Themed tea parties.
P.S. Gotta register beforehand
GARDEN GUIDED WALK
The weather is now pleasant enough to be planning outdoorsy excursions with the fam. You know fam, the people you see for an hour or two on weekdays, who keep complaining about how you’re never around. Well time to make it up to them. Sign up for a guided tour through Lawrence Garden.
P.S. Pack a picnic, turn it into a party.
If you’ve been checking out the swanky new gallery within Packages Mall, now would be the perfect time to get a closer look. Mussawir Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition featuring 9 up and coming artists. That’s one platform and multiple options. Check out Peculiar Sanity, soak up the art
P.S. Read our Packages Guide and up the ante
JEEBHO JAANI DI KAHANI
Everyone on my Facebook friends list is seemingly going/interested in the event, so it’s been on my radar for a while. The play is geared towards teaching children about environmental sustainability, water scarcity and conservation. So not only will it be tons of fun, it’ll teach you a thing or two.
P.S. Buy your tickets ASAP.
I know, I know. This event is technically not a weekend plan. Still, hear me out. Everyone’s favorite food delivery app is hosting a tour through Lahore’s food scene, now that’s our kind of scene. They’ll be visiting a curated list of the trendiest eateries, and you’d be foolish to miss out on this one. So don’t.
P.S. Book a spot STAT.
That’s another weekend in Lahore, totally sorted. Art, food and adventure, countless possibilities await you. You don’t wanna sleep in, trust me.
