This weekend in Lahore we’ve got two festivals coming up, along with an art class like no other and debates featuring some of the best speakers in the country. You do not want to miss out. 



OLO PEOPLE is an exciting cultural exchange and cultural celebrations program being hosted by Olomopolo Media. Artists from different countries/cultures or with origins from other countries/cultures will be showcasing their work. The event will also feature domestic talent in celebration of world events. This Sunday, come celebrate the Persian New Year.

The annual Festival of Lights, held in honor of Peer Madhu Lal Hussain, is scheduled to take place this weekend. The event is to be marked by a Qawwali featuring Sher Mian-daad Qawwal and has been organized by the Walled City of Lahore Authority & Auqaf Department Government of Punjab. Come enjoy mysticism and spirituality with devotees of the Mian Mir Shrine.

This Old vs. Young debate will together senior speakers and young debaters as they engage in a riveting parliamentary-style debate. The topic under discussion is “This house believes that we should move past the pain of Partition.” The panel of speakers consists of Aitzaz Ahsan, Arfa Sayeda Zehra, and Siddique Awan opposing the motion.
