This Weekend In Lahore: Performance Art and Novel Experiences
This weekend in Lahore, expect your Saturday to be event heavy. Everyone seems to have picked the 6th of October as the date of choice for their events, and we’re feeling spoilt. The best bit is that starting early morning you’ve got at least four destinations that you can chalk into your to-do list. Get your favorite boys and girls together and head on out to make the most of it:
Prepare for an evening showcasing durational performances, actions, and gestures. Eleven artists will explore various aspects of their lives and engage with performance as a medium under the guidance of Natasha Jozi. This is one event you do not want to miss.
P.S. This is one for the squad.
The campaign against domestic violence is an initiative taken by Youth General Assembly to curb domestic violence in Pakistan. The society is establishing a helpline number and will pursue individual cases in court on behalf of victims. A worthy cause to stand behind indeed.
P.S. Try to reach the venue by 4pm to participate.
MAESTROS OF RAAG
The legendary Farida Khanum and Coke Studios poster boy Ali Sethi are all set to captivate the audience this evening at LUMS. The event might be a little hard to get into so you may want to call up that one friend at LUMS to sort out your entry, totally worth it.
P.S. Good luck getting past the guards!
A SELF REFLECTION SESSION
Voice Up, Institute of Training & Development, and Lahore High Court Bar Association are collaborating to bring out the best in you and help you zero in on purpose in life. The event is a workshop that aims to enable participants to begin living a more meaningful life. Sounds good.
P.S. Register now before spots fill out.
HAREY RANG KI CHADAR
The play is a family drama that plays tribute to soap opera tropes of the late 1970s and early 1980s. With guaranteed laughs for the entire family, this is one event that you wanna catch with your folks and the siblings. Fridays are for the fam anyway.
P.S. Tickets will be available at the venue.
That’s your guide to this weekend in Lahore, Saturday is the one to watch. Godspeed.
