Recipe Fridays: Immad’s Honey Glazed Chicken

For those of you who don’t know, we have a chef in our midst. If there’s anything Immad loves as much as devouring eccentric kind of food, it would be making eccentric of food. This week, I’m sharing one of his go-tos with you, simply because it’s just that amazing. Here’s a step-by-step for Immad’s Honey Glazed Chicken.


What you’ll need


Cubed boneless chicken – 500 grams
Garlic and ginger paste – ½ teaspoon
Finely chopped onion – 1, medium sized
Finely chopped green chili – 1
Soy sauce – ½ cup
Honey – ½ cup
Sesame seeds – ½ teaspoon
Chopped spring onion – for garnishing
Paprika – a pinch
Salt – to taste
Cooking oil – 3 tablespoon

What you should do

Heat up a wok and saute the onion and ginger garlic paste in cooking oil. Next, add the green chili and chicken. Mix them well and keep sauteing it from time to time till the chicken turns white. Add paprika and soy sauce and cook them on a high flame for a while. Simmer for a minute, and once the chicken is cooked through, turn the flame off. Add honey and sesame seeds, and then salt, if you feel the need for it. Garnish with spring onion and serve it with sticky white rice.
