Beach Luxury Hotel: Far from the Madding Crowd
Beach Luxury Hotel is the oldest hotel in Karachi, thus, some might consider it a landmark of sorts. It is unsurprising that the oldest hotel in Karachi is as close to the beach as it is; after all, the beach is synonymous with the city.
Walking into the main hall of such an old building one would expect outdated and perhaps colonial interiors, but the decor at Beach Luxury Hotel is totally contemporary. During my stay at the Beach Luxury Hotel, I enjoyed solitary walks in the lush green garden, as the tall palm trees danced with the sea breeze.
Despite its proximity to the financial district, Beach Luxury Hotel is always peaceful and free from the noise pollution of the city. The location can also be a reason why it’s always filled with businessmen and women from the financial district who are here for a meal, a meeting, or both. It is worth noting that the members of other prestigious clubs in Karachi also have access to the facilities available at Beach Luxury Hotel.
During my stay here, I found that my room was quite cozy and with an incredible panoramic view of the coastline. The room was incredibly well-kempt and the staff was very helpful. I greatly enjoyed the food at Beach Luxury Hotel, the menu remains the same as it was in 1960 which lends well to the ambiance of the space. Upon closer inspection, the hotel seems like something out of an old Bond film. This is not to say that it is outdated, I found the aesthetic of Beach Luxury Hotel quite comforting.
The pool was quite sanitary but it can be improved greatly with a little effort. The gym is comparatively more modern and well equipped. While the hotel doesn’t offer over the top amenities, I have no complaints as far as comfort goes. The Wi-fi was decent and the hotel was otherwise well-equipped. It suited me just fine.
Overall beach luxury is a nice and comfortable small place to stay at. It is ideally located and budget-friendly, which makes it a great option for families vacationing in Karachi.
